Vermicelli Pulao Recipe
- Preparation Time: 5 minutes
- Cooking Time: 20 minutes
- Serves: 6
- Vermicelli 2 cups
- Potato 1cup (diced) (boiled)
- Carrot ½ cup (diced) (boiled)
- Cauliflower 5-6 florets (boiled)
- Green peas 1/4 cup (boiled)
- French beans 1/4 cup (boiled)
- Green capsicum ¼ cup (diced) (boiled)
- Salt (as required)
- Oil 4 tablespoons
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Ginger- 1 chopped
- Onion – 1 chopped
- Green chilies 2
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
- Lemon (as required)
- Heat five cups of water, bring it to a boil, add Vermicelli, salt and two tablespoons of oil. Cook for one minute or till slightly underdone. Drain, pour under cold water and keep aside.
- Add green chilies and stir. Add the boiled vegetables, turmeric powder and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add cooked vermicelli, salt and stir gently.
- Cook for five to six minutes. Squeeze some lemon and serve hot.
